alt Hacker NewsAudio problems aren't new. I remember that the last 10.9 build I was still using in 2016 had this bug where sound would just stop working every now and then. `sudo pkill coreaudiod` fixed it every time.

I have an issue like that on my M1.
I'll need to try that! I have that issue like once a month on the macbook my work gave me, and rebooting was the only thing I figured out that works.
