alt Hacker Newsfor me flatpak worked _way_ better than snap, after some snap update on arch apparamor or some other _thing_ blocked start of the electron-based snaps (like spotify)
flatpak does have some quirks but (as I see) it works most of the time and it definitely saves time for the developer to package an application
Snap apps also have preposterous security settings, like Inkscape only being able to load SVGs from certain paths on my system. It’s a file editor, it should be able to edit files, period.
