You'd be shocked how many people cannot process basic hypotheticals. I've been in countless dialogues like this one:
- How would you feel now if you had not eaten breakfast?
- But I did eat breakfast.

There is a significant portion of the population, whos brains do not process the word "if."
As a computer programmer, I do not have english words to express how frustrating this can be at times.
