Why not publish the actual emails? Why do they need to be summarised, perhaps incorrectly?

Narrative control. Now second order articles can be written which quote only the summaries.
Propaganda works like this; they know most people won't dig any further than the headline and summaries.
The actual emails can be accessed through the torrent. Although I can't imagine just publishing the emails in their entirety would be more resource/labor intensive than publishing individual AI summaries of each.
