alt Hacker NewsI’m casually in the hobby but I’ve been able to identify way more birds than I thought I could. Started with a small bird feeder at my house. Now, when I go deer hunting I turn on the Merlin Bird ID app and try to find what it’s hearing.
The bird feeder attracted way to many mice and rats. I wish I didn’t have to take it down.
Surely there’s a way of vermin proofing considering the birds can fly? I’ve been thinking of a bird feeder, I’ve started with a hummingbird one and was thinking about unwanted creatures at the seed feeder if I get one but i naively assumed this would be a solved problem lol
