Fearless prediction: At some point, this dynamic—-i.e., running to keep up with the AI and providing directions when you catch it or when asked by it, with little creative work in between--will slow. Without human creativity, focus, and the resulting code, ideas, text, and stories to steal, LLMs are essentially helpless.
