Kind of surprised not to find any instance of the string "jevon" in either the article or the comments here already. Even with the assumption that AI decreases the amount of work needed for writing software (which people may disagree on of course), Jevon's paradox seems like it would still apply; maybe making more stuff feasible more easily just means management has higher expectations https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_paradox
