For example The political hunts connected to the SPLC and FBI/DOJ burned those bridges. They remember how Leftists treat them when they work against them. Therefore your attempt to use their principles against them aren't going to work very well.

Yes! I lost my entire career because I wouldn't participate in the Covid production. Dems will cheer on surveillance tech embedded with law enforcement when they view the target as their political opponents.
Give me a break. Dems weren't throwing people in foreign torture prisons for not wearing a mask at the grocery store. Or throwing them in internment camps and stripping them of their citizenship for simply expressing an opinion.

The actual restrictions were quite reasonable in the vast majority of cases, weren't in place very long, and were only spottily enforced.
