alt Hacker NewsI would have loved to get the decrease in weight, but I bought my Macbook Pro 128 GB in March and the equivalent is now 50% more expensive, from 5000 to 7500. The memory price skyrocketing is so bad but I don't know if it will ever get better or if these prices are the best we will ever see again.

Hard to compare since the screen is significantly better and touch-capable.
Those are completely disjointed things though, and one of them (price of RAM) is currently very-much outside Apple's control.
IF memory prices drop, apple product prices will likely drop. And it will stay lighter.
