We are getting very close to this with cheaper and cheaper glp-1 drugs. Soon they'll be free for any overweight American.
I have to wonder what the longer term consequences of modifying peoples essential biological drives chemically will turn out to be in the long run.
That isn't to say this might not be the best solution for many people but I still wonder.
