It reminds me of the Apple TV rumors. For ~4 years the new AppleTV was just around about to be announced for <reasons> and you should wait to buy one. Then it's finally announced and people are all "yeah, but a few weeks before the AppleTV was launched they said it was going to have more RAM!".
Sure, and they said similar kinds of things for 4 years. Why act like the broken clock is suddenly worth noting just because the time was finally right this moment?
