Yea honestly I used to use claude sonnet all the time on pro plan and it had problems like this, but moved up to a max plan and opus makes it almost impossible to go back, higher usage limits aren't worth it if they force you to wrestle with ur agent all day instead of getting a ton built and running out of usage in an hour.
