Yep, scrolling through my phone and reading slowly to understand. I'm seeing distracting animations below what I'm reading. And when I go to them, there is no way to restart them. So it completely misses the point.

I think it varies from person to person. Since I'm kind of from the TikTok generation, I don't have much trouble reading this kind of animation, but some people prefer static sites. That's just how it is.

I also found scroll-triggered animations hard to read at first, but these days a lot of sites use them, so I've gotten used to them.
