alt Hacker NewsIt's great they're working on improving performance, but as they move towards an IPO I'd be looking hard at getting off their platform altogether. They're already shoehorning ads and all kinds of nonsense into their app- it's only going to get worse after the IPO.
Network effects keep me on it. I'm waiting for the day it collapses so I can spin up a Teamspeak (or whatever) server again, but it's just too darn convenient for everybody else, so I'm stuck with it unless I want to become even more of a hermit.
