Last time I heard about something like this in the tech space was Theranos[1]. Doesn't really fill me with confidence about OpenAI.

This is a meme that will keep on giving.
I don't think that is new. Back when Walmart tried to expand to Germany it was reported that they had employees do some Walmart chant. As you can guess this didn't go over well with German employees.
