Author here. Great to see this making its way up HN! I've been thinking about this topic for a while and it's nice to see people engaging with it.

That's a reflection of underlying simplicity. There are only a few classical physical laws. Physical prediction follows from that. Hence the power of math. Biology does not have that property.
