alt Hacker NewsYup, stopped using SLS toothpaste because I heard that it could be causing my canker sores. I've had ONE in the three years since, when they were a weekly occurrence before.

also, when I was young I worried I might have herpes or something, but doctor told me canker sores are different from cold sores. Later in life, turns out there might be a chance I have crohns?

TIL Canker sores are a specific type of mouth ulcer. Where I am (New Zealand), this would just be called a mouth ulcer.
