alt Hacker NewsThere is nothing about passkeys that requires biometrics. Synced passkeys on android will work with your screen unlock code if you do not have biometrics enabled. Same with passkeys stored in a password manager. Same with hardware passkeys that do not support biometrics.
every time I've been prompted for passkey setup, it says things like "this is easier, just give your fingerprint"
no thanks, passwords are not a burden to me
