About me: I am a full-stack engineer with a history of mobile app development and operations automation. I co-founded https://www.joinouting.com/, and have since left the company in May to work at other startups / companies, particularly in the AI space. While at Outing, I developed our app's frontend using Flutter, our cloud infrastructure using AWS, our business operations playbook for interfacing with customers / vendors, and automation via LLMs for those operations. I am currently spending my time reading on the AI space and finetuning LLMs for my own experimentation. Looking to be apart of a scrappy team who wants to go beyond pushing the status quo of company business, and are willing to execute on high-leverage, risky strategies and technologies.

I have about 5 years of professional experience, mostly in web application space as a front-end dev or varying level of SWE. I've also been a CTO/Co-Founder of a document-signing on video company. I tinker with hardware too, would like to go that route. I do not have a degree. I started to learn how to code in 2013 back in the LAMP days.
Oh yeah as far as what I've been doing the last 9 months, been working labor. I was making hardware projects but lately just working labor all the time.
Most recently I have worked on an iPhone app paired to a watch for a client.

Hi
I am Siddharth, and I am looking for full time opportunity for Software Engineer Role.
I want to share not just my past achievements but also what I’ve been working on recently as a Software Engineer at Atlan. Right from my first weekend, I jumped in, handling support tickets and quickly becoming a top performer in multiple support cycles. I showed I could meet tight deadlines by creating the company’s first 10-day connector in just 9 days. I also played a key role in speeding up our Snowflake & PowerBI workflows, cutting the runtime by 96%, which made a huge difference in our system’s efficiency.
One of my big wins was improving system observability. I used Stackdriver, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch to enhance monitoring and alert handling, which really boosted customer satisfaction. I also optimized our data pipeline performance, achieving a 96% reduction in Snowflake & PowerBI workflow runtimes and improving Argo data pipeline orchestration, increasing SLA from 92% to 97% and cutting disruptions by 99%.
Additionally, I led the migration of Snowflake and BigQuery Miners from Spark-based Delta Lake to DuckDB’s native parquet format, slashing workflow runtime by 80% and resolving critical Out of Memory issues. I'm also building an innovative offline agent for Argo workflows, enabling standalone deployments in Docker-in-Docker environments and on-premises Kubernetes clusters.

Available for Principal Unity UI-based App/Game Development, Gaming Backends, and UI/UX Design Opportunities – One-Man Army from Concept to Launch
I’m currently available for on-site/remote roles worldwide, as well as remote opportunities in Unity UI (uGUI, UI Toolkit) based App/Game Development, including gaming backends and UI/UX design. As a one-man army, I have a proven track record of taking projects from concept to launch across desktop, mobile, and web.
Here’s a summary of what I’ve been working on over the past 5 years: www.linkedin.com/posts/manofspirit_opentowork-activity-7237722209241214977-U3ZG
As a versatile designer and developer, I’ve created UI-based 2D games and applications with multiplayer features, ranging from XR-based Metaverse app WeDream to the NASBA-accredited educational app Earmark CPE, to Scrabble-inspired UGC-based Word Game, and even Ludo and Bonza-inspired puzzle games across various platforms.
Starting with GameSparks (RIP) in 2014, I’ve since worked with BrainCloud, PlayFab with Azure Scripting, Epic Online Services, and most recently started exploring Xsolla Backend (AcceleratXR). I’ve built fully integrated BAAS games and apps that often include async multiplayer, user-generated content (UGC), social integration (friends, messaging, etc.), tournaments, achievements, leaderboards, and monetization strategies (in-app purchases, subscriptions, virtual currencies, sales, ad mediation, etc.). Additionally, I’ve developed Unity-based admin tools for seamless management of users, content, and reporting.
On the UI/UX side, I started with Adobe Photoshop 8 and CorelDraw 9 almost 20 years ago; today I design beautiful applications and 2D games while utilizing my development skills to automate design tools for bulk art generation, variations, and solving repetitive tasks. I also leverage AI tools like MidJourney to push beyond creative limits.
Even though my focus is on the design and development of backend-driven Unity-based apps/games, my diverse skill set and ability to wear multiple hats allow me to seamlessly contribute to every stage of a project—from initial concept and UX design to backend integration, multiplayer systems, and final launch. This versatility enables me to adapt to different roles and challenges, delivering comprehensive solutions that align with the project’s goals.
If you have any openings that align with these diverse skills, I’d love to connect and explore how I can contribute.

Email: [email protected]
My first resume-worthy project was working with Mozilla on the Rust compiler for 6 months [0], implementing the ability to reorder fields in structs to eliminate padding. My work here was primarily a cleanup project which also unblocked many other Rust layout features that people benefit from today. I then detoured into Python/Django on top of Kubernetes, writing scalable infrastructure such as a giant media transcoding cluster. After that, I pivoted back to C/C++ working at Backtrace I/O. If you play a lot of videogames, our software is probably on your system, as we indexed and processed native crashes for many of the largest videogame publishers. This was big data on the order of tens to hundreds of terabytes per day. I was able to attain exposure to the concerns at that scale--including custom database design. While there, I spearheaded the adoption of Rust in the org, initially for microservices and later as part of our C codebase. I'm now one of the most experienced Rust engineers you'll find. We did neat things some of which are open source, for example our feature flag system that rewrote code at runtime [1] and our Sqlite VFS that replicates to S3 [2]. As a benchmark of our success, we managed to be acquired by Sauce Labs, a company easily 10 times our size.
Though we weren't successful in the long term, I also bring some business experience to the table as some friends and I did manage to run a contracting company for a while.
Outside of work I play around with DSP and audio synthesis projects, including optimization using lower level details such as SIMD. I also think about programming language design. Recently, I've been working to mod Factorio to make it playable by the blind. I am 100% blind myself, and I've managed to win it multiple times. You can get info on it at [3], and I did a stream which also demonstrates my ability to speak ad-hoc without much preparation at [4]. It also answers the question "how do you use the computer?", one of the more common questions I get. In terms of technical skill, when I joined the project it was one 20000 line file, and now it's maintainable and nicely split up.
My salary expectation is $200k+. I'm looking for mid-sized to small startups. At this point, I'm able to take some risks, including possibly volatile salary (e.g. crypto, bonuses, etc). Hopefully this interests you. I know I've said a lot. That's because I'm looking for the right fit, not the fast fit.
